Good movie
Excellent! Despite the fact their locked in such a small space, they managed to make the movie interesting. There were only a few dissension of disbelief moments. I found it acceptable enough to enjoy it.*spoiler – the guy not just being whisped into space was ridiculous. One of the reasons it’s 4 not 5 ⭐️

The movie started sort of slow at first and then it picked up real fast and pretty much had me glued to my seat. Overall a very good movie and a joy to watch.

This movie could be greatly improved if everything was replaced with something else.
Imagine if a bunch of random tourists somehow found their way on board the ISS, and half of them were pretending to be Russian while having no idea how Russians act, and they were all pretending to be either astronauts or cosmonauts, while having no idea how such people would act in real life. That is about what you can expect from this movie.The ISS was the backdrop, but was a relatively unimportant part of the story. The unique character of astronauts and cosmonauts was not reflected at any time, and the interesting nature of that character is therefore unimportant to the movie… hence, no value comes from that at all. The movie could have been in the setting of random people trapped in a stranded subway car, or something like that.There are scenes when the astronauts act like they have to figure out the equipment as they’re standing in front of it, acting in the manner of a bemused civilian trying to figure out which HDMI input to select on a TV, as though they hadn’t thoroughly drilled the use of the equipment on the ground. When they meet the cosmonauts, it’s like random people meeting at a bar, as though they knew nothing of each other, when you would assume they would all have been given dossiers on each other well in advance. It was like people meeting at summer camp.The cosmonauts are supposedly Russian, but they do not act like Russians. They act like whatever random people you might meet in Burbank. All the cultural differences are just not there at all. They are too effusive, and telegraph FAR too much emotionally. Whoever wrote the screenplay has probably never met a Russian before, and has no idea how they act.For that matter, I don’t think they have the slightest clue about astronauts or cosmonauts generally. Such people are highly-trained, top-of-their-game military officers. They don’t act casual about their work, and they don’t freak out when something goes wrong. If an emergency happens, they are calm and professional about it, as though, again, they had drilled many different problem scenarios many times.The set is nice, but we got the feeling that it’s probably a set that gets rented out to various parties for films. There is one scene in the cupola where it’s perfectly obvious that they’ve got it mocked up on a sound stage.Also, if the rest of the problems weren’t enough, they walk around most of the time as though they were under full gravity.

A good “what if” scenario.
I liked the movie, a lot of drama and a few twists and turns. In reality the various crew members from different nation-states would not turn on each other. Astronauts are a rare breed of people that are vetted to deal with high stress events and having the ability to not freak out. Most Astronauts must pass very strict and rigorous psychological tests so they are not a threat to themselves or others while stationed at the ISS. The ISS is a neutral entity. The countries may fight it each other but it would never happen on the ISS.

Just OK – Possible date night flick
The plot was interesting and we have a home theater so space movies always deliver expansive scenes that really show off that capability… But the movie itself was kind of… meh. Predictable. It wasn’t “bad” it just wasn’t really good either. If you’re looking for a date night movie that you don’t plan on watching… you know what I mean… this is a good choice. You can keep up with only 1 eye on the screen some of the time. If you want to actually be drawn into something and enjoy the movie itself… keep looking. Hope this helps.

Good suspense but lacking an ending
I won’t put spoilers here, but I was hoping for something more resolute as an ending. The suspense was good, if not a little cliche. Good to watch once, then have it for background noise if rewatching.
