Retained the action, lost some heart
This sequel follows a different girl. More action then the first movie, as the first half is centered around a gangster causing troublefor a family.Mild spoiler ahead: This movie lacked some of the heart and soul that the first one had, and has a mean streak. (Why viciously beat a civilian woman over the head when she and the rest of the bus are gassed? Why the deaths of beloved character)The “Other One” was a good actress and cool character. The fish out of water stuff was cool, ranging from lol funny, to a little corny and forced totally. Either way, I’m hoping not to wait too long for third film.

Great follow up but…..
the really bad comic relief ruins this movie. If the South African/Australian/Whatever guy with the fake beard and his partner were to be edited out this would be a perfect sequel. Let me get that out of the way. It’s incredibly annoying and every scene they are in just induces eye rolls. Go into this KNOWING how bad they are and you should be able to enjoy this movie. Having to watch and HEAR that guy eating a candy bar while trying to be funny on screen is one of the most cringe scenes I’ve endured.The first movie is in my all time top 10 favorite films so this is where this review is coming from. It’s difficult to follow up something that awesome. Unlike JOHN WICK where the first one was perfect now it’s just the same old thing with terrible storyline, same poor hashed together fight scenes, and same stunt men in different beards over and over…. this DOES have worthwhile elements that makes me want to re-watch.This sequel propels the storyline deeper and further prepping for a third.Fight and action choreography isn’t as good and often American shakey cam like which is unfortunate.Although I do “like” this movie this just doesn’t seem well thought out like the first one was.Definitely watch and hopefully the third will take a detour from the cringe in this one.

Fantastic South Korean Horror Fantasy film
The item arrived quickly and in great condition. It is not dubbed so if you’re not interested in reading subtitles luckily it’s an easy story to follow.

Madness cranked up to 100.
The sequel to a surprisingly awesome movie. Introduce us to a new character that honestly feels as close to an Elfen lied live action movie where gonna get. Created by scientists to be the perfect weapon, but they can’t control them. Combines X-Men, Horror anime, and thriller together.

The Witch 2: The Other One (blu-ray)PROS: As good as the first movie. Cynthia, Park Eun-bin and the rest of the supporting cast were superb. Great action, excellent special effects, writing, directing. Beautifully shot. After watching the trailer, I was afraid Witch 2: The Other One, would be more “graphically” violent than the first Witch: Subversion, but it was not. There is also a hint of a sequel, a surprise appearance by Kim Da-mi. Bonus Feature: Behind the Scenes.CONS: It was sad that one of the stars had to die.
