He is known for his roles in films such as Gulaal (2009) and Rakta Charitra (2010), and has also appeared in other notable movies including Lakshya, Dhol, and Ram Leela.In addition to his work in Hindi cinema, he has ventured into regional film industries, with his Telugu debut in Rakta Charitra (2010), his Tamil debut in Velayudham (2011), and his Kannada debut in Chakravyuha (2016). He has also appeared in television serials, including Kumkum: Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan and Saara Akaash. He is married to Sargam Singh, and they have two children, a son and a daughter.
