Adam Brody is an American actor, writer, and producer, born on December 15, 1979, in San Diego, California. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Seth Cohen in the television series "The O.C." (2003-2007).Brody's film career includes appearances in "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" (2005), "Thank You for Smoking" (2005), "Jennifer's Body" (2009), "Scream 4" (2011), "Ready or Not" (2019), and "Promising Young Woman" (2020). He also took on the role of the adult, super-powered Freddy Freeman in the DC Extended Universe films "Shazam!" (2019) and "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" (2023).Beyond acting, Brody has been involved in other creative endeavors. He was a drummer for the band Big Japan and has co-written a comic book miniseries. He also starred in and produced the television series "StartUp" (2016-2018).
