Aditya Roy Kapur (born 16 November 1985 in Mumbai) is an Indian actor known for his versatility and strong screen presence. He comes from a prominent family involved in the entertainment industry. Aditya started his career as a VJ on Channel V India, where his charm quickly made him popular. He made his acting debut in 2009 with a supporting role in London Dreams, but his breakthrough came in 2013 with Aashiqui 2, where his portrayal of a troubled musician won widespread acclaim. That same year, he starred in the blockbuster Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which established him as a leading actor.
