Adivi Sesh, born Adivi Sesh Sunny Chandra on December 17, 1985, in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, is a prominent Indian actor, director, writer, and screenwriter who primarily works in the Telugu film industry. He was raised in Berkeley, California, where he attended Berkeley High School and pursued an undergraduate course in film direction at San Francisco State University. Sesh debuted as a lead actor, writer, and director with the film Karma in 2010. He gained initial recognition for his antagonistic and supporting roles in major films like Panjaa (2011), Balupu (2013), and the epic Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), where he played the role of Bhadrudu/Bhadra.He later established himself as a successful leading man by focusing on action and suspense thrillers that often feature his own screenplays, which have earned him critical acclaim and awards, including a Nandi Award for Best Screenplay Writer for Kshanam (2016). His significant commercial and critical successes include Kshanam, the spy thriller Goodachari (2018), Evaru (2019), the biographical war film Major (2022), and HIT: The Second Case (2022). He is also known for his upcoming projects, including the sequels G2 (Goodachari 2) and HIT: The Third Case, and the Hindi-Telugu film Dacoit.
