Alba Gutiérrez
Born in Madrid on February 18, 1994, Alba Fernández Gutiérrez is a multifaceted Spanish artist who has built a successful career as an actress, dancer, director, and screenwriter. She comes from a distinguished artistic lineage, being the daughter of the renowned film director Chus Gutiérrez and the niece of both the celebrated choreographer Blanca Li and the composer Tao Gutiérrez. Her upbringing in a creative environment led her to start acting as a child in films directed by her mother, such as Poniente (2002) and Retorno a Hansala (2008), before she pursued formal training at the Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático (RESAD) in Madrid, where she graduated in 2016. Alba's professional breakthrough arrived in the late 2010s through prominent roles in popular Spanish daily television series. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Lucía Alvarado in the fourth season of the period drama "Acacias 38" (2018–2019) and later as Marina Crespo in "Amar es para siempre" (2019–2020), a role she reprised in the spin-off series #Luimelia. Her television career continued to flourish with significant roles in series such as Madres. Amor y vida, Escándalo. Relato de una obsesión, and Entre tierras. More recently, she has become a central figure in the series "La Moderna", where she plays the character Inés Valbuena. In 2025, Alba Gutiérrez has further expanded her cinematic footprint by appearing in the film "Me has robado el corazón", a project directed by her mother that features her alongside a contemporary cast of young Spanish stars. Beyond her work in front of the camera, she has proven herself as a creative force behind it; in 2021, she wrote and directed the award-winning short film "XSmall", starring Paula Usero.
