Alberto Guerra is a Cuban actor, born on December 5, 1982, in Havana, Cuba. He has become a prominent figure in both Latin American and American television and film, known for his charismatic presence and versatile performances.Guerra began his acting career in telenovelas, making his debut in Telemundo's "Vale todo." He steadily built his resume with roles in various popular Spanish-language productions. His career took a significant turn with his portrayal of "El Chema" in the sixth season of the popular Telemundo series "El Señor de los Cielos" (2018-2020), a role he took over from Mauricio Ochmann and successfully made his own.He has also gained international recognition for his work on Netflix. He appeared in the third season of "Narcos: Mexico" (2021) as Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada García, and more recently, captivated audiences as Darío Sepúlveda, a bodyguard who becomes the husband and business partner of Griselda Blanco, in the highly acclaimed Netflix biographical miniseries "Griselda" (2024), starring opposite Sofía Vergara.
