Alexander Michael Roe-Brown, professionally known as Alex Roe, is a British actor born in Westminster, London, England. Growing up in Ladbroke Grove, his mother was a ballet dancer, and while he didn't pursue dance, he did develop an early interest in acting. He also had a passion for football, even playing semi-professionally before fully committing to his acting career.Roe began his acting journey at a young age, making his debut in the 2000 horror film "The Calling" when he was just 10. He gained early television experience with a main role in the children's sci-fi series "The Fugitives" (2005) and later in the teen drama "The Cut" (2010). His career began to pick up significantly after he moved to Los Angeles.He became more widely known for his roles in major motion pictures such as the dystopian sci-fi film "The 5th Wave" (2016), where he played Evan Walker. He then took on a starring role as Holt Anthony in the horror sequel "Rings" (2017). Other notable film credits include "Hot Summer Nights" (2017) and "Forever My Girl" (2018). On television, he played a main role as Ben Pownall in the Freeform fantasy drama series "Siren" (2018-2020) and also appeared as Pat Garrett in the series "Billy the Kid" (2022).
