Alice Eve
Alice Sophia Eve is a British and American actress, born on February 6, 1982, in London, to well-known actors Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan. After attending Westminster School, she studied English at St Catherine's College, Oxford, where she was active in student theatre. Eve began her professional career in 2004 with supporting roles in films like Stage Beauty and the TV biopic Hawking. She gained early recognition in the UK with the comedy film Starter for 10 (2006) and a critically acclaimed performance in the Tom Stoppard play Rock 'n' Roll on both the West End and Broadway. Her career moved into Hollywood leading roles with the romantic comedy She's Out of My League (2010) and a role in Sex and the City 2. Eve is perhaps most widely known for her major parts in high-profile franchise films, notably portraying Young Agent O in Men in Black 3 (2012) and Dr. Carol Marcus in Star Trek Into Darkness (2013). She has demonstrated her range across television, with notable roles in the final season of HBO's Entourage (2011), the popular episode "Nosedive" of Black Mirror (2016), and playing the villainous Typhoid Mary in the Marvel series Iron Fist (2018). More recently, she starred in the historical drama series Belgravia (2020) and the action-comedy film Freelance (2023).
