Alireza Bayram is a Swiss actor of Iranian origin, born on June 4, 1984, in Tehran, Iran. He began his acting career in Zurich in 2007, working with notable directors and choreographers at the Young Theatre Basel. He also appeared in several graduation films from the Zurich Film School, some of which were screened at the Locarno International Film Festival.Bayram made his television debut in 2014 in the popular German crime series "Tatort" and has since featured in numerous film and TV productions. His film credits include "Parvaneh" (2012), "Subotika: Land of Wonders" (2015), "Tehran Taboo" (2017), "Das Ende der Wahrheit" (2019), and "Talking About the Weather" (2022). He also had a role in the fifth season of the acclaimed American series "Homeland" (2015). Most recently, he can be seen as Jan Sharif in Petra Biondina Volpe's 2025 film "Late Shift" (Heldin). Bayram is known for his versatility and has appeared in various international co-productions, showcasing his talent across different genres and languages.
