Amanda Collin is a Danish actress, born on March 4, 1986, in Rungsted, Hørsholm, Denmark. She is also known as Amanda Bjerre-Petersen. She trained in the Meisner technique at the William Esper Studio in New York City from 2009 to 2011. Her career has included notable roles in both film and television, with a breakout performance as the lead character Marie in the 2017 film A Terrible Woman, for which she won both the Robert Award and the Bodil Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2018. Collin is also recognized for her leading role as the android Mother in the HBO Max sci-fi drama series Raised by Wolves (2020–2022). Her other prominent credits include the films Department Q: A Conspiracy of Faith (2016), Resin (2019), The Exception (2019), and The Promised Land (2023), and the television series House of the Dragon (2024). In 2025, she is slated to appear in the crime drama series Smilla's Sense of Snow and the psychological thriller film The Woman in Cabin 10.
