Anaita Shroff Adajania is a renowned Indian fashion stylist, costume designer, and actress, widely considered a trailblazer in the Indian fashion industry. Born in Mumbai, she started her career in the mid-1990s without formal fashion education, initially working as an assistant fashion editor at Elle magazine upon its launch in India in 1996. She later moved on to L'Officiel India before taking on her current, influential role as the Fashion Director for Vogue India.Throughout her career, Adajania has become a top-tier celebrity stylist, noted for her design work on numerous Bollywood films. She is particularly celebrated for her work on the Dhoom franchise, where she styled the looks for all three films, including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2 (2006). Her extensive filmography as a costume designer includes a diverse range of movies such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Love Aaj Kal (2009), Cocktail (2012), Finding Fanny (2014), Dear Zindagi (2016), Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva (2022), and the upcoming War 2 (2025).
