Anartz Zuazua is a Spanish actor and theatre director, born in Donostia-San Sebastián, Gipuzkoa, in the Basque Country in 1973. He is a multi-talented figure in the Basque and Spanish performing arts, with a career that spans theatre, film, and television, and he has received formal training from schools such as Antzerti, Layton’s acting laboratory, and the Jacques Lecoq school. Zuazua has a deep connection to theatrical education, having worked for many years as an instructor at the Zurriola Antzerki Eskola (Zurriola Theatre School). As a director, he has helmed several stage productions, often focusing on comedy, including works like Jokoz kanpo and El txiringo.
