Andi Osho

Andi Osho is a British actress, writer, and comedian born in Plaistow, East London, to Nigerian parents. Before finding success as a performer, she worked in television production. Osho began acting in 2003 and then ventured into stand-up comedy in 2006, quickly making a name for herself by winning the Nivea Funny Women Award in 2007.She is known for her impressive versatility across different media. As a comedian, she has had sell-out national tours and appeared on popular UK shows like Live at the Apollo and Mock the Week. Her acting career is equally notable, with roles in both film and television. She has appeared in the horror film Lights Out and the DC Comics film Shazam! where she plays the social worker, Ms. Emma Glover. Her television credits are extensive, including roles in dramas like Line of Duty, I May Destroy You, and Death in Paradise, as well as comedies like Breeders and Good Omens. Osho is also a published author, having written the novels Asking for a Friend and Tough Crowd.
