Andreas Döhler

Andreas Döhler is a German actor born in Wermsdorf, German Democratic Republic, in 1974. He studied at Leipzig's Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" from 1999 to 2003. He then worked at the Nationaltheater Weimar and was a member of the acting company of the Hamburg Thalia Theater from 2003 to 2009. From 2009 to 2017, Döhler was part of the ensemble at the Deutsches Theater Berlin, and since 2017/18, he has been a member of the Berliner Ensemble.In addition to his extensive stage work, Döhler has appeared in numerous film and television productions. Some of his notable film credits include the Academy Award-winning "All Quiet on the Western Front" (2022), "Die Hände meiner Mutter" (2016), "Dark Satellites" (2022), and "The Calendar Killer" (2025). He also featured in the TV mini-series "The Heavy Water War: Stopping Hitler's Atomic Bomb" (2015) and the series "King of Stonks" (2022). Döhler has also made appearances in popular German television series like "Tatort" and "Polizeiruf 110." He continues to be an active and versatile actor in German cinema, television, and theatre.
