Andrew Astor (born June 7, 2000, in Scottsdale, Arizona) is an American actor and music producer who began his career at just five years old after being spotted during filming on The Kingdom—a moment that led his family to relocate to Los Angeles and kickstart his journey in entertainment . He first appeared in commercials and soon landed a recurring role on Dirty Sexy Money. Astor made early TV appearances in shows like Mad Men, Criminal Minds (as young Spencer Reid), ER, and How I Met Your Mother, and featured in films such as The Hangover (2009) and Santa Buddies. Astor gained recognition within the horror genre by portraying Foster Lambert in the Insidious franchise—appearing in Insidious (2010), Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), and returning as an adult in Insidious: The Red Door (2023), where he is credited among the main cast. After Chapter 2, he paused acting to focus on school at The Buckley School, exploring video production, stand-up comedy, basketball—and even competitive gaming, topping North America’s Rainbow Six Siege leaderboard for three months.
