Andrew Lin Hoi (Chinese: 連凱; born August 7, 1969) is a Hong Kong-based Taiwanese actor and visual artist. He initially worked as a special effects makeup artist in the United States. In 1996, he moved to Hong Kong and began his acting career.Since starting acting in 1997, Lin Hoi has appeared in numerous films and television series, demonstrating his versatility by playing both heroic and villainous roles. His notable film credits include "New Police Story" (2004), "Rob-B-Hood" (2006), "Infernal Affairs II" (2003), "The Man with the Iron Fists" (2012), and "To the Fore" (2015). He has also appeared in various TV shows such as "Detective Chinatown" and "Remembering Lichuan."In addition to his acting, Andrew Lin continues to run his make-up effects shop and training school. He is active in the industry, with recent and upcoming film appearances including "A Gilded Game" (2025), "Wolf Hiding" (2023), and "Hunt the Wicked" (2024).
