
Andrew Shaver
Andrew Shaver is a Canadian actor, director, broadcaster, and songwriter who has worked extensively across North America in theater, film, and television. He is a graduate of the prestigious École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, France, and has acted on stages of all sizes, including the Stratford Festival, The National Arts Centre in Ottawa, and various venues in New York and Philadelphia. His directing credits range from Shakespeare and site-specific immersive theatre to commercial touring shows, notably a production of Grease for Just For Laughs that sold over 100,000 tickets. In film and television, Shaver has amassed over 50 credits in projects such as Star Trek: Discovery, Anne with an E, Reign, and the major feature films Arrival, The Glass Castle, and 300, in addition to his recent role as Ben in the 2024 psychological thriller Sharp Corner. Beyond his acting and directing work, he is also the songwriter behind the music project Clever Hopes and hosts the nationally syndicated weekly new music radio show and podcast When We Wake with Andrew Shaver. Furthermore, he has worked in the video game industry, including a role as Realization Director for Ubisoft RedStorm Studio, overseeing cinematic aspects of games like Assassin's Creed NexusVR.
