Anh Dũng
Born on October 30, 1990, in Thai Nguyen as Nguyễn Anh Dũng, he is a highly skilled Vietnamese actor who rose to national prominence through his "hated" role as the weak and indecisive husband, Thanh, in the hit television series Sống chung với mẹ chồng (2017). A graduate of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Cinema, Anh Dũng spent the early years of his career in the Northern Vietnamese film industry, building a solid portfolio with roles in series like Khi người đàn ông góa vợ bật khóc and Tuổi thanh xuân 2. In 2018, seeking to expand his horizons and challenge himself beyond television, he made the strategic decision to "Nam tiến" (move South) to Ho Chi Minh City, where he transitioned into the world of commercial cinema. His move to the Southern film industry saw him collaborating with high-profile directors, appearing in major projects such as the luxury drama Camellia Sisters (Gái già lắm chiêu V, 2021) and the psychological thriller Guardian Angel (Thiên thần hộ mệnh, 2021). In Victor Vu’s The Last Wife (Người Vợ Cuối Cùng, 2023), Anh Dũng took on a distinct and pivotal supporting role as Thầy đề Thiện Lương, the cunning and manipulative aide to the District Governor.
