Arón Julio Manuel Piper Barbero is a German-Spanish actor and singer, best known internationally for his starring role in the global hit Netflix series Eˊlite. Born on March 29, 1997, in Berlin, Germany, to a German father and Spanish mother, he moved to Spain at the age of five and grew up in Catalonia and later Asturias. He is multilingual, fluent in Spanish, German, English, and Catalan, and has studied acting and directing.Piper began his career early, but achieved significant recognition when he starred as Jon in the 2013 Spanish drama film 15 An~os y un Dıˊa (15 Years and a Day). This role earned him a Goya Award nomination for Best Original Song for the film's theme, which he co-wrote and performed. His international breakthrough came in 2018 with his central role as Ander Muñoz in the Netflix teen drama Eˊlite, a series he starred in until 2021. Following this success, he took on other major television roles, including Iago in the Netflix thriller El Desorden Que Dejas (The Mess You Leave Behind) (2020) and Sergio Ciscar in Muted (2023).Beyond acting, Piper maintains a parallel career as a recording artist and singer, releasing music under the name ARON.
