Arthur Darvill is an English actor, musician, and composer known for his prominent roles in both television and theatre. Born Thomas Arthur Darvill on June 17, 1982, in Birmingham, England, he began his acting career at a young age, joining the Stage2 Youth Theatre Company. He later trained at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).Darvill first gained widespread international recognition for his role as Rory Williams, a companion to the Eleventh Doctor, in the BBC science fiction series Doctor Who from 2010 to 2012.
