Artur Viktorovich Vakha (born January 13, 1964, in Leningrad, now St. Petersburg, Russia) is a distinguished Russian actor celebrated for his extensive work in theater, film, and television. Born into an artistic family—his mother, Volya Vasilyevna, was a theater director and professor, and his father, Viktor Arturovich, was an actor—Vakha was immersed in the world of performance from a young age. He made his stage debut at the age of six in the play A Man from the Side at the Lensovet Theater, where his mother worked as an assistant director. This early exposure to theater set the foundation for his future career.. Vakha pursued formal training at the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music, and Cinema (LGITMiK), graduating in 1984 under the guidance of Vladimir Petrov. During his studies, he performed in various productions, including Fanfan-Tulip and Red Wine of Victory, which showcased his versatility and talent. After completing his education, he served in the Soviet Army before joining the Nikolay Akimov Comedy Theater in 1986, where he performed for several years.
