Asher Grodman
Asher Chazen Grodman is an American actor and producer. He was born on July 28, 1987, in New York City and was raised in Califon, New Jersey. Grodman attended Far Hills Country Day School and Newark Academy. He graduated from Columbia University in 2010 with a degree in film and English, and he also holds a Master of Fine Arts from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. He was a member of Columbia's varsity fencing team.Grodman is known for his role as Trevor Lefkowitz in the CBS series Ghosts. His other television credits include guest-starring roles on shows like Succession, Chicago Med, House of Cards, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He has also appeared in numerous independent films and in regional theater productions, including the title role in Amadeus.In addition to acting, Grodman is a filmmaker and teacher. He wrote, directed, and produced the short film The Train, which starred Eli Wallach and was featured in several film festivals. He is an adjunct lecturer at Hunter College and has also taught acting to inmates at Rikers Island. Grodman has been a fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars since 1995 and has even co-directed, written, and starred in a video for the team's 2023 schedule release.
