Auden Thornton is an American actress known for her work in film, television, and theater. Born on October 21, 1988, in Houston, Texas, she began her acting career at a young age. At nine years old, she was cast in the film Arlington Road, starring Jeff Bridges and Joan Cusack. Thornton attended St. John's School in Houston and later studied at the Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan. She graduated from the Juilliard School in 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drama.. Thornton's early career included appearances in television series such as Blue Bloods, The Good Wife, Forever, and Elementary. In 2017, she garnered critical acclaim for her role in the independent drama Beauty Mark, earning the Los Angeles Film Festival's Special Jury Prize for Best Breakout Performance. She also received the Best Actress Award at the SENE Film, Music and Art Festival for the same role. In 2019, Thornton joined the cast of NBC's This Is Us, portraying Lucy, a recurring character in the show's fourth season. She was also cast in the ABC pilot Thirtysomething(else), a sequel to the acclaimed drama Thirtysomething, where she played Brittany Weston, the daughter of Elliot and Nancy Weston. Thornton's recent work includes roles in Palm Trees and Power Lines (2022) and the sixth season of Black Mirror (2023). She is also set to appear in the upcoming film Little Lorraine, alongside J Balvin, Stephen Amell, and Sean Astin.
