Born on September 26, 1977, in Uttar Pradesh, she hails from a family with a strong theatrical background, with two of her grand-aunts being theater actors. Ayesha's early exposure to theater led her to pursue formal training at the Dramatic Art and Design Academy in New Delhi under Amal and Nissar Allana . She made her film debut in 2003 with Raghu Romeo and later appeared in notable films such as Dhoom, Happy Bhag Jayegi, Dil Dhadakne Do, Befikre, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety . In 2020, she portrayed Shobha Juneja in Ginny Weds Sunny and Ratna Rajput in Laxmii .
