Ayushmann Khurrana
Ayushmann Khurrana is an acclaimed Indian actor and singer known for his work in Hindi cinema, particularly for his portrayals of ordinary men who often challenge social norms. Born in Chandigarh, he holds a master's degree in Mass Communication and began his career by winning the second season of the reality show MTV Roadies in 2004, followed by a successful stint as a radio jockey and then a video jockey/host on MTV. Khurrana made his Bollywood debut in 2012 with the romantic comedy Vicky Donor, a critically and commercially successful film for which he also sang and co-composed the hit song "Pani Da Rang," earning him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut and Best Male Playback Singer. After a brief period of struggle, he established himself as a leading star with a series of successful, socially relevant films including Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015), Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017), Badhaai Ho (2018), Article 15 (2019), Dream Girl (2019), and Bala (2019). His performance in the thriller Andhadhun (2018) won him the National Film Award for Best Actor. He is married to writer and filmmaker Tahira Kashyap, and the couple has two children. Khurrana was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time in 2020.
