Bárbara Mori is a Uruguayan-born Mexican actress, model, producer, and writer. She gained international fame for her role as Rubí Pérez in the hit telenovela Rubí (2004), one of the most successful Mexican soap operas of all time.She has starred in films such as Kites (2010), Cantinflas (2014), and Treintona, Soltera y Fantástica (2016). In addition to acting, she founded Lua Producciones, her own production company, and has produced films like Alice in Marialand and The Mongolian Conspiracy.Recently, she played Bárbara in Lucca’s World (2025), a medical drama based on a true story. She is also preparing her directorial debut.
