Barış Arduç is a prominent Turkish actor and model, born on October 9, 1987, in Scherzingen, Switzerland. He is of Albanian descent, with paternal roots from Ordu and maternal roots from Artvin. At the age of 8, he moved to Istanbul with his family, where he completed his primary and secondary education. Before pursuing acting, Arduç was actively involved in various sports, including football, basketball, handball, swimming, and diving . Arduç's acting career began in 2011 with supporting roles in television series such as Küçük Hanımefendi, Dinle Sevgili, Pis Yedili, and Benim İçin Üzülme . His breakthrough came in 2015 with the romantic comedy series Kiralık Aşk (Love for Rent), where he portrayed Ömer İplikçi. The series was a massive hit, earning him two Golden Butterfly Awards for Best Comedy TV Series Actor in 2015 and 2016 .
