Barry Clifton
Barry Clifton is an American actor known for his diverse roles in film and television. Born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, he began his journey in the performing arts by studying Musical Theatre at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith at the age of 13. At 17, he joined the United States Marine Corps, serving until 1981. After his honorable discharge, Clifton spent several years exploring various paths before rediscovering his passion for acting in 1991. He performed in several stage productions to regain his footing and became an Equity Membership Candidate in 2016 while a member of the Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre company. During this time, he appeared in over 30 films, working with a wide array of filmmakers, from collegiate film students to veteran Hollywood icons. In 2019, he joined SAG-AFTRA and began pursuing acting as a full-time career.In addition to his on-screen work, Clifton has appeared in several stage productions, including A Midsummer Night's Dream and West Side Story, and has performed in world premieres such as Karski's Message and Mrs. Miniver.
