Ben Hardy, born Ben Jones on January 2, 1991, is an English actor from Bournemouth, Dorset. He first gained recognition for his role as Peter Beale in the BBC soap opera EastEnders from 2013 to 2015. He made his film debut as the winged mutant Archangel in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) and later earned critical acclaim for his portrayal of Queen drummer Roger Taylor in the biographical film Bohemian Rhapsody (2018).Hardy's career has been marked by a diverse range of roles across various genres. His filmography also includes the action-drama Only the Brave (2017), the period romance Mary Shelley (2017), and the action film 6 Underground (2019). On television, he starred in the miniseries The Woman in White. He is also set to appear as Tony Spera in the highly anticipated horror film The Conjuring: Last Rites.
