Ben Lawson
Ben Lawson is an Australian actor known for his extensive work in both Australian and American film and television. Born on February 6, 1980, in Brisbane, Queensland, he first gained significant recognition for his role as Frazer Yeats in the popular Australian soap opera Neighbours from 2006 to 2008, which earned him a Logie Award nomination. Lawson moved to Los Angeles in 2008 and successfully transitioned to the American market, securing roles in numerous television series such as Designated Survivor (as Damian Rennett), 13 Reasons Why (as Coach Rick Wlodimierz), and a memorable guest role as Larry Hemsworth on the critically acclaimed comedy The Good Place. His film credits include the romantic comedy No Strings Attached (2011) alongside Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher, and the 2019 drama Bombshell, where he portrayed Lachlan Murdoch. Most recently, he starred as Johnny in the popular Netflix series Firefly Lane (2021–2023) and is slated to appear in the upcoming film Anaconda (2025). In 2020, he published a book of poetry, To My Country, with proceeds going to Australian bushfire relief efforts.
