He comes from a family deeply rooted in the arts, with his mother, Julissa, being a renowned singer and actress, and his father, Benny, an actor and rock singer from the 1960s band Los Yaki. His brother, Alejandro Ibarra, is also a singer and actor.Benny Ibarra began his illustrious music career in 1981 as a member of the hugely successful Mexican pop band Timbiriche. He recorded seven albums with the group before embarking on a solo career in 1992. His solo discography includes several gold and platinum-certified albums, featuring hit singles that topped charts across Latin America. He is celebrated for his distinctive blend of rock and pop, characterized by dynamic sounds and emotive lyrics.
