William "Billy" Oliver Campbell (born July 7, 1959) is an American actor with a prolific career spanning film and television. He first gained recognition in the mid-1980s for his recurring role as Luke Fuller, Steven Carrington's lover, on the popular soap opera Dynasty. Campbell further cemented his leading man status with the titular role in the Disney superhero film The Rocketeer (1991) and as Quincey Morris in Francis Ford Coppola's Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992).Throughout his career, Campbell has been a consistent presence on television, known for his work in series such as Once and Again (earning a Golden Globe nomination), Crime Story, The 4400, and the Tales of the City miniseries. He received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Darren Richmond in AMC's crime drama The Killing and starred as Dr. Alan Farragut in Syfy's Helix, and Detective John Cardinal in CTV's Cardinal, for which he won multiple Canadian Screen Awards.
