Bojana Novaković is a Serbian-Australian actress renowned for her diverse roles in film, television, and theater. Born on July 12, 1981, in Belgrade, Serbia, she relocated to Australia in 1988 at the age of seven. Initially aspiring to become a social worker or doctor, Novaković shifted her focus to the performing arts. She graduated from The McDonald College in Sydney in 1999 and earned a Bachelor of Dramatic Arts from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 2002. Novaković's acting career began in the mid-1990s, with notable early roles in Blackrock (1996) and Strange Fits of Passion (1998). She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Randa in the ABC mini-series Marking Time (2003), earning her the Australian Film Institute Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Television Drama or Comedy .
