Brad Garrett
Brad Garrett (born April 14, 1960) is an American actor, comedian, and voice artist, renowned for his distinctive deep voice and towering presence. Standing at 6 feet 9 inches, Garrett began his career in stand-up comedy in the early 1980s, gaining national attention after winning the grand championship on the talent show Star Search in 1984. This victory led to appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and a successful comedy career. He is best known for his role as Robert Barone on the CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, a performance that earned him three Primetime Emmy Awards. Beyond television, Garrett has had a prolific voice acting career, lending his talents to numerous animated films and television series. In Disney's Tangled (2010), he voiced Hook Hand, a pub thug with aspirations of becoming a concert pianist. Garrett's other notable voice roles include Bloat in Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, Dim in A Bug's Life, Auguste Gusteau in Ratatouille, and the Easter Island Head in the Night at the Museum film series. In addition to his acting and voice work, Garrett owns a comedy club at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and has authored a memoir titled When the Balls Drop: How I Learned to Get Real and Embrace Life's Second Half.
