Brandon Engman is an American actor, singer, and dancer who has become widely recognized for voicing the title character in the 2025 animated musical film David. A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama, Engman developed his skills in musical theatre and film acting through programs at the New Studio on Broadway and Stonestreet Studios. Before his breakout role as the voice of young David, he established himself as a versatile voice talent, notably providing the English dub for Hodaka Morishima in the critically acclaimed anime film Weathering with You, as well as appearing in projects like Belle and Lu over the Wall. His transition into the David franchise began with the prequel miniseries Young David, where his portrayal of the shepherd boy earned him praise for capturing the character's innocence and spiritual growth. Beyond his voice-over work, Engman has appeared in various television series and feature films, including guest roles on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, New Amsterdam, and Hunters. He also co-starred in the 2025 film Bull Run and appeared in high-profile commercial projects like Nespresso’s "The Bet" alongside George Clooney.
