Bridget Catherine Regan (born February 3, 1982) is an American actress known for her dynamic and versatile roles across television and film, often portraying complex characters, from heroines to villains. Born in Carlsbad, California, she graduated with a BFA in Drama from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Regan gained her initial widespread fame and a dedicated cult following for her lead role as Kahlan Amnell, the Mother Confessor, in the fantasy adventure series Legend of the Seeker (2008–2010). She has become a familiar face in recurring roles across major television shows, notably as the criminal mastermind Rose Solano (a.k.a. Sin Rostro) on Jane the Virgin (2014–2019), the Russian spy and villain Dottie Underwood in Marvel's Agent Carter (2015–2016), and the tough diplomat Sasha Cooper on The Last Ship (2016–2018). More recently, she stepped into the DC universe as the iconic villain Pamela Isley / Poison Ivy on Batwoman (2021–2022) and has a recurring role as lawyer Monica Stevens on The Rookie (2022–present). Her film credits include a small but memorable role as Addy in John Wick (2014). She is married to writer-director Eamon O'Sullivan, whom she met while filming Legend of the Seeker. She is also part of the ensemble cast for the 2025 biographical drama, Sarah's Oil, where she plays the role of Kate Barnard.
