Britain Dalton is an American actor born on December 12, 2001, in Los Angeles, California. He began his acting career unexpectedly when a film student spotted him performing card tricks for a crowd and invited him to audition for a lead role in the Chapman University film Jude's Tribute. Dalton's natural acting style and unique appearance quickly landed him roles on TV's Criminal Minds, in a music video for Switchfoot's hit song "When We Come Alive," and as a young Nathan Drake in the video game Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. He co-starred with Billy Bob Thornton and William Hurt in David E. Kelley's Amazon legal drama Goliath, and appeared in Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One and the crime thriller Thumper . Dalton is best known for his role as Lo'ak, the second son of Jake Sully and Neytiri, in James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water (2022). Lo'ak is portrayed as a rebellious and misunderstood character seeking his place within the family and the world. Dalton's performance was noted for bringing depth to the character, capturing both his defiance and vulnerability . He reprised his role in the upcoming sequel Avatar: Fire and Ash and is set to appear in Avatar 4 . In addition to his acting career, Dalton is the son of Grammy-nominated songwriter Jeremy Dalton. He has also pursued music, with his first guitar lesson being with his friend, Poison guitarist C.C. Deville .
