Buddy Campbell is an American actor, screenwriter, director, producer, and casting director based in Arkansas. Born on November 24, 1968, in the Ozark Mountains, Campbell's early life was steeped in sports, participating in basketball, baseball, and football during his school years. He attended Arkansas Tech University, where he took on leading roles in college plays. Despite his passion for acting, he pursued various careers for over two decades before returning to the film industry in 2013. His re-entry began with a role as a high school teacher in the film Greater, a project close to his heart as it depicted the story of a beloved Arkansas Razorback football player. This experience reignited his passion for acting, leading him to study at Excel Models and Talent in Little Rock under coach Melissa Moody. Since then, Campbell has amassed over 50 screen credits across film, television, web series, and commercials. His notable works include roles in God's Not Dead: A Light in Darkness (2018), Summer of '67 (2018), The Boo (2018), and The Joneses (2021). He has also appeared in television series such as Vindication (2021–2023), Women of the Movement (2022), and #TextMeWhenYouGetHome (2022). In addition to acting, Campbell has taken on roles as a producer, director, and screenwriter, contributing to various projects including A Soldier's Secret (2021) and Louisa (2022).
