Camille Cottin is a French actress and comedian who has achieved international recognition for her work in film and television. Born in Paris on December 1, 1978, she spent her teenage years living in London, which helped her become fluent in English. After returning to France, she worked as a high school English teacher while also pursuing her passion for acting through classes and theater work.She first gained widespread fame in France with the hidden-camera sketch series Connasse (meaning "bitch" in French), which aired from 2013 to 2015. Her portrayal of a rude and capricious Parisian woman became a cultural phenomenon, leading to a feature film based on the series, The Parisian Bitch, Princess of Hearts (2015).However, it was her role as the ambitious and ruthless talent agent Andréa Martel in the critically acclaimed Netflix series Call My Agent! (2015-2020) that catapulted her to global stardom.
