Carl Ng Ka-Lung (Chinese: 吳嘉龍), born March 27, 1976 in Hong Kong, is a British-Hong Kong actor and model best known for his work in films and television across Asia. The son of comedy actor Richard Ng, Carl studied at the University of Westminster in the UK and began his acting career in the early 2000s after initially working as a model and even as a scuba diving instructor in Thailand. He is known for his versatile appearances in more than 30 films, including prominent roles in "Colour Blossoms," "New Police Story," "The Viral Factor," "Yesterday Once More," and "Project Gutenberg." On television, he has been recognized for his recurring lead in the Singaporean series "Point of Entry" (as Glenn Chua), as well as guest and supporting roles in other regional dramas. Fluent in both English and Cantonese, Carl Ng is known for gravitating towards complex or darker roles, seeking out character-driven parts that challenge typecasting. As of 2025, he continues to be active on screen, appearing in recent projects like "Sons of the Neon Night" and maintaining a reputation as a dynamic figure in contemporary Asian cinema.
