Carlo Aquino (born Carlo Jose Liwanag Aquino on September 3, 1985) is a highly-regarded Filipino actor and musician whose career spans from a beloved child star to a versatile leading man. He began his show business journey in the early 1990s as a child actor, achieving his breakout and critically acclaimed role as "Ojie" in the 1998 film Bata, Bata... Pa'no Ka Ginawa? alongside veteran actress Vilma Santos. This performance earned him a FAMAS Award for Best Child Actor. He transitioned to a popular teen idol in the late 90s and early 2000s, notably as a member of the teen group JCS with John Prats and Stefano Mori, and starring in the hit TV series G-mik.Aquino has demonstrated significant versatility throughout his career, successfully navigating between mainstream and independent cinema. He also has a daughter, Enola Mithi, from a previous relationship with model Trina Candaza.
