Caspar Phillipson is a Danish actor and singer, born on January 13, 1971, in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is primarily known for his work on stage, screen, and as a voice actor in predominantly Scandinavian productions. Phillipson is best known in the English-speaking world for his recurring and critically praised portrayal of U.S. President John F. Kennedy (JFK), a role he first took on in the 2016 film Jackie alongside Natalie Portman. His resemblance to Kennedy has been noted as unusually striking, leading him to reprise the role in multiple other projects, including the 2022 film Blonde, the TV series Project Blue Book, and the short film The Speech JFK Never Gave. A graduate of Denmark's National Theatre School, he has also appeared in Scandinavian television series such as The Bridge and Borgen, and his other international film credits include a small role in Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018).
