Cezary Łukaszewicz is a prominent Polish actor of stage, film, and television, born on August 25, 1981, in Wrocław, Poland. He began his stage career at the age of 14 and later graduated from the Theatre Academy in Warsaw in 2004. His professional theatrical career included a seven-year tenure at the Nowy Theatre in Poznań and later becoming a company member of the Polski Theatre in Wrocław starting in 2013.Łukaszewicz has built an extensive filmography in both Polish and international productions. He is known for his versatile roles across genres, from auteur cinema to action films and historical dramas. A major international credit is his role as Theo Van Gogh in the Oscar-nominated animated film Loving Vincent (2017). His other significant film appearances include the critically acclaimed animated drama The Peasants (Chłopi) (2023), for which he received a Polish Film Award (Orzeł) nomination for "Discovery of the Year," as well as roles in Krime Story. Love Story (2022) and the action movie Furioza (2021). On television, he gained recognition for playing Sławek in the series Kruk (Raven) and Andrzej Radwan in the HBO production The Thaw (Odwilż).
