Charlotte Frogner

Charlotte Frogner is a renowned Norwegian actress, born on April 9, 1981, in Aurskog-Høland, Norway. She trained at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (Statens teaterhøgskole) and has been a key ensemble member at Det Norske Teatret (The Norwegian Theatre) since 2004, where she has played a wide range of demanding roles in plays and musicals, including classics like Peer Gynt and The Magic Flute. Her on-screen career spans both film and television, with her most internationally recognized role being Hanna Delon in the cult Norwegian horror-comedy film Dead Snow (2009) and its 2014 sequel, Dead Snow 2:Red vs. Dead. In Norwegian television, she is widely known for her main role as Celine Kopperud in the popular NRK comedy series Side om side (Side by Side) from 2013 to 2019, and for her leading role as Maria Blix in the drama series Hvaler (2008), for which she won the Best Actress award at the 2009 Seoul International Drama Awards. She also does extensive voice work, including roles in the Norwegian animated films in the Cattle Hill series and the Captain Sabertooth franchise, such as Captain Sabertooth and the Magic Diamond (2019) and the upcoming Captain Sabertooth and the Countess of Grel (2025).
