Cheyenne David Jackson is an American actor and singer, born on July 12, 1975, in Spokane, Washington. Raised in Oldtown, Idaho, he later moved to Seattle where he worked as an ad executive and did regional theater, earning his Equity card, before moving to Manhattan after 2001 to pursue an acting career. He began on Broadway as an understudy in Thoroughly Modern Millie (2002) and Aida (2003) before landing his first leading role as Chad in All Shook Up (2005), which earned him a Theatre World Award. His notable stage career includes roles in Xanadu (2007) and the revival of Finian's Rainbow (2010), both earning Drama Desk nominations, and Into the Woods (2022). On screen, Jackson appeared in the 2006 film United 93, which earned the ensemble cast a Boston Society of Film Critics award. He is also well-known for his television work, which includes a recurring role as Danny Baker on "30 Rock" (2009–2012), appearances on "Glee", and starring in multiple seasons of "American Horror Story" from 2015 to 2018, playing characters like Will Drake and Dr. Rudy Vincent.
