Choi Hyun-wook (born January 30, 2002) is a highly-regarded young South Korean actor who has quickly established himself in the K-drama industry. He initially pursued a career in baseball for ten years but switched to acting after sustaining an elbow injury. He made his debut in the web drama Real:Time:Love (2019).Choi earned significant early recognition and the Best New Actor award at the 2021 SBS Drama Awards for his contrasting roles as a vicious school bully in Taxi Driver and a kind-hearted badminton player in Racket Boys (2021). His popularity soared after starring as the charming and fashionable high schooler Moon Ji-woong in the hit coming-of-age drama Twenty-Five Twenty-One (2022).He continued to impress audiences with gritty performances, playing the loyal and tough student An Soo-ho in the acclaimed streaming series Weak Hero Class 1 (2022), and then starring as the energetic and passionate band member Ha Yi-chan in the time-travel youth drama Twinkling Watermelon (2023).
