Chris Alosio is a New Zealand-born actor of Samoan descent, recognized for his compelling performances in both film and television. Born on July 4, 1995, Alosio hails from Wellington and is of Samoan heritage, with his father from Levi, Saleimoa, and his mother from Falefa, Anoama'a. Alosio's acting career began with his debut in the 2018 short film Bats. He gained significant recognition for his role as Private Isara'elu "Izzy" Ulalei in the Australian miniseries Fighting Season. He further showcased his talent in the series Surviving Summer, portraying Manu, and in Troppo as Jayjay. In the 2023 supernatural horror film Talk to Me, Alosio played Joss, a charismatic teen who co-hosts a party where the group first encounters the mysterious embalmed hand.
