Christopher Fulford (born 1955 in London, England) is a seasoned British character actor with a career spanning over four decades, prominently known for his work in British television, film, and stage . He first rose to recognition in the early 1980s playing punk Alex in the sitcom Sorry, I'm a Stranger Here Myself (1981–82), and quickly became a familiar face in crime and procedural dramas such as Inspector Morse, A Touch of Frost, Silent Witness, Cracker, Prime Suspect, Spooks, and Waking the Dead. On screen, Fulford took on diverse roles in films like Immortal Beloved (1994), D‑Tox (2002) opposite Sylvester Stallone, Millions (2004), and Pierrepoint: The Last Hangman (2005). He also portrayed Winston Churchill in Werner Herzog’s Queen of the Desert (2015) and appeared in other notable movies such as Stonehearst Asylum and The Guardian Angel . Most recently, Fulford joined the cast of 28 Years Later (2025), continuing his extensive filmography.
